What counts as a canceled booking?

Updated this week

A booking is considered canceled if it is not paid for and no tickets are issued before the ticket time limit expires.

Paid and issued tickets that are later refunded or canceled do not count towards your cancellation rate.

Why does the air ticket cancellation rate matter?

It’s important to maintain a reasonable cancellation rate as both RateHawk and certain airlines track the ratio of booked versus issued tickets and may impose fines or restrictions for a large number of cancellations.
