How the Credit Limit Works When Booking with RateHawk
Updated over a week ago

Make non-refundable bookings and pay later when you use RateHawk’s credit limit. If you’re making a lot of bookings or just don’t want to pay instantly by bank card, our credit limit will allow you to make non-refundable bookings instantly. Here we explain how the credit limit works and how you can get the most out of it for your business.

What the credit limit is

The credit limit is a certain amount that we provide to partners so that they can make non-refundable bookings without instant payment. The credit limit may be used to issue air tickets, as well as to book hotels and transfers.

The credit limit is reduced by the order amount after the hotel or transfer are booked or air tickets are issued. The system generates an invoice at the same time, and it needs to be paid in accordance with the contract terms — for example, within three working days.

You may check your credit balance in the “Financial information” block on the RateHawk main page — this is the amount available for making non-refundable bookings. This amount is the total of two parts: the credit limit and overpayment. Overpayment is funds that you have provided as a deposit but have not yet spent on orders, together with funds that were returned to your balance after orders were canceled.

How to request or increase a credit limit

Please send a request to your account manager. They will help you to complete the required documents and will then set a credit limit or increase its amount.
