Non-refundable bookings require card payment at the time of booking. If the booking failed, but the amount was still charged it means that the amount was blocked, not taken from your bank account. The funds are set by, but they remain in your bank account.

When funds are blocked on a credit card, the same notification is given as when the credit card is charged. To inquire about the balance of your credit card and when you can expect the amount to be unblocked, please contact your card provider.
