What is Wallet and how can I use it?

Wallet is a virtual balance in your RateHawk account. It holds funds you add in advance or receive from RateHawk, such as refunds. You can use these funds to pay for future bookings and invoices.

How are funds added to my Wallet?

Funds may be added to your Wallet when:

  • You top it up by card.

  • You top it up using an advance-payment invoice.

  • You receive a refund for a booking paid by bank transfer or Wallet.

  • A manually processed refund is credited to your Wallet.

  • Your Gross commission is paid to your Wallet, depending on your agreement.

How do I top up my Wallet?

You can top up your Wallet by bank card or with a top-up invoice.

  1. Open the Wallet top-up form in either of the following ways:

    • On the home page, click “Top up” under “Wallet balance”.

    • Go to “Reporting” → “Unpaid invoices” and click “Top up wallet”.

  2. Choose:

    • “Generate a top-up invoice”

    • “Top up with bank card”

  3. Enter the amount in “Top-up amount”.

  4. Click “Top up”.

If you choose a bank card, complete the card payment in the next step. The funds will appear in your Wallet immediately after the payment is successful.

If you generate an invoice, download the advance-payment invoice and make a bank transfer using the payment details provided. Processing can take up to 3 business days. Once the transfer is processed, the funds will appear in your Wallet.

What can I pay with Wallet?

Wallet is available for Net payments only.

You can select Wallet as your payment method:

  • On the booking form.

  • When paying for a booking from “Orders.”

  • When paying an invoice from “Reporting” → “Unpaid invoices.”

The available amount will be deducted from your Wallet balance when the payment is completed.

How can I check my Wallet balance?

Your available balance is displayed in the “Wallet balance” block on the home page of your RateHawk account. You can also see it when you select Wallet as a payment method.

Does my Wallet balance protect an unpaid booking?

No. Wallet and credit limit are different features:

  • Wallet contains funds already credited to your RateHawk account.

  • Credit limit is an approved amount that can be used to secure eligible bookings before payment.

Funds in your Wallet do not automatically protect an unpaid booking from cancellation. To keep the booking, complete the payment or use Credit limit when available.

Can I withdraw funds from my Wallet?

Contact your Account Manager to request a withdrawal. They will confirm the available withdrawal options.
