How to recognize official RateHawk communication

Updated today

At RateHawk, we are committed to maintaining a secure, transparent, and professional working relationship with all our partners.

This guide outlines the standard rules of interaction with RateHawk employees, clarifies responsibilities on both sides, and helps protect your account from unauthorized actions or fraud.

✅ What RateHawk employees May Do

RateHawk team members may contact you or interact with your account only in the context of official support and business operations, such as:

  • Providing assistance with existing bookings
Helping resolve issues related to reservations, cancellations, booking modifications, or service disruptions.

  • Supporting technical or platform-related questions
Assisting with account setup, navigation, or platform functionality.

  • Requesting verification for security or anti-fraud purposes
In certain cases, our security team may ask for confirmation related to payments or booking activity (e.g., cardholder verification or supporting documentation).

  • Communicating through official RateHawk channels
Email from official company domains (@ratehawk.com, [email protected] or @emergingtravel.com), in-platform notifications, or approved support communication channels.

  • Providing guidance on security features
Including recommendations to enable 2FA and follow best practices for account protection.

❌ What RateHawk employees Will Never Do

(These are warning signs of fraud or inappropriate behavior)

RateHawk employees will never:

  • Ask for your account password or one-time verification codes
We do not request login credentials under any circumstances.

  • Request full payment card details in open form
We will never ask you to share your full card number, CVV, or PIN via email, phone, or chat.

  • Create bookings for personal or unrelated purposes
RateHawk employees may assist with bookings as part of official support processes. However, they will never create bookings for personal use, unrelated third parties, or without a legitimate business reason connected to your request or support case.

  • Offer unofficial “credit limit arrangements” or off-platform settlements
RateHawk employees do not provide personal financial agreements or alternative payment schemes.

  • Ask you to approve unfamiliar bookings or transactions
If something appears unexpected, always verify it directly through our official support.

If any of the above occurs, it may indicate fraudulent activity. Please report it immediately.

Partner responsibility and account ownership

Your RateHawk partner account is your business tool.

In accordance with Section 3 of the Public Offer, any action or inaction performed through your personal account (including bookings, cancellations, modifications, or payment operations) is considered to be performed by the Partner.

You are fully responsible for all activity carried out under your login credentials unless unauthorized access is properly reported to RateHawk.

To ensure security:

  • Grant account access only to trusted employees within your organization

  • Regularly review booking activity and payment usage

  • Immediately report any suspicious or unauthorized activity

  • Enable additional security features such as 2FA

How to report suspicious requests

If you receive an unusual request from someone claiming to represent RateHawk, please contact our support team or your Account Manager immediately.

If you suspect that an Account Manager or any RateHawk representative is acting suspiciously or in violation of these rules, please report the situation directly to: [email protected]

Timely reporting helps us protect your business and investigate potential misconduct or fraud.

Safety reminders

  • Secure your account with 2FA
Enable two-factor authentication in My Profile settings to add an extra layer of protection.

  • Check the URL carefully
Always ensure you are on www.ratehawk.com. Fraudulent sites often use small variations in the URL (e.g., ratehwak.com instead of ratehawk.com).

  • Avoid clicking on suspicious links
If you receive an unexpected email or message asking you to log in, do not click the link.
    Instead, go directly to: www.ratehawk.com/accounts/login

  • Never share your login credentials
RateHawk employees will never ask for your login or one-time password via email, phone, or social media. If you receive such a request, report it immediately.

  • Use strong and unique passwords
Create a secure password using a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
Avoid reusing passwords across different accounts. If one service is breached, using the same password everywhere could put your other accounts at serious risk.

  • Regularly update your password
Changing your password every few months reduces the risk of unauthorized access.

  • Use separate accounts for each user
Each employee should use their own personal login credentials. If a shared (multi-user) account is used, carefully monitor who has access to it.
Please note that multiple individuals accessing a single account significantly increases security risks.

  • Use licensed software and antivirus protection
Install reputable antivirus software (including verified security extensions for your browser) and avoid using unlicensed or unofficial software on devices that access your RateHawk account.

  • Follow secure online payment practices:

Never share your payment card with third parties

Do not enter card details on unverified or suspicious websites

Whenever possible, enable 3D Secure authentication for online transactions
