How to book a car?
On RateHawk, you can book a car without a driver for your clients. This service is available in the “Car rentals” section.
How long before the trip can I book a car?
There are no time limits. If cars are available for your request, you can book a car either in advance or immediately before the trip.
Please note that free cancellation is possible up to 48 hours before the trip. The penalty for late cancellations and/or no-shows at the pick-up location is specified in the rate conditions and in the voucher (in the “Cancellation policy” block).
How do I book a car?
Go to the “Car rentals” section.
Specify the location, date, and time of pick-up and return of the car, as well as the driver’s age. Click “Search.”
Important: Cars can be rented for drivers aged 20 to 71 years. Some rates may include an additional charge for drivers of certain ages (e.g., under 25).
Review the descriptions in the offer cards and use filters to find a suitable option.
Study the full rental conditions, including document requirements, insurance coverage, fuel policy, mileage restrictions, included services, and other important details. Click “Choose” on the desired offer card.
Specify the main driver’s details.
Important: Most rates allow only the main driver to operate the car. Exceptions include some premium cars, which offer an “Additional driver” option in the rental conditions.
If necessary, select additional services. Note that these may not be included in the rate and are paid for on-site.
Check the order details and click “Book.”
After making a booking, you can download the voucher and access the “Orders” section to pay. A voucher with all the booking details will also be sent to your email.
How do I pay for a car booking?
You can pay for your car reservation in any of the following ways:
From your credit limit
By invoice
By bank card online
By customer card via a payment link
What is the time limit for paying for an order?
You must pay for your car booking during the free cancellation period, e.g., no later than 48 hours before pick-up. After this period, unpaid reservations are automatically canceled.
How can I change my booking?
Contact customer support using any of the following methods:

How do I create a request from my account?
Select the appropriate car rental booking.
Click the “Customer Support: make a request” button in the bottom-left corner.
Click “Make a new request." and fill out the application.
What classes of cars can I book?
On RateHawk, you can book cars of the following classes:

What is included in the car rental price?
Depending on the rate terms, the rental price may include a full gas tank, unlimited mileage, or a GPS navigator. The terms of a specific rate are indicated in the offer card. Please review them carefully before making a booking.
How do I add additional services (e.g., a child seat, booster, or GPS navigator) to my order?
Depending on the rate conditions, additional services may be included in the rental price or paid for on-site. They can be added to the order after selecting the rate and filling out the driver’s details.
What is the fuel policy for car rentals?
Standard: The client will receive a car with a full tank and must return it with the same fuel level or pay for refueling.
Free tank: The client will receive a car with a full tank and can return it at any fuel level, even if it is empty.
How do I make and return a security deposit?
The security deposit is not included in the booking price and is paid separately at the rental location. In most cases, an international credit card issued in the main driver’s name is required (some companies also accept debit cards).
The deposit amount depends on the rental company, car class, and rental period. You can find the exact amount in the rate conditions.
The security deposit is automatically unblocked within 30 days after the rental ends.
How do I get insurance?
Insurance terms are determined by the provider and are included in the rate conditions. You cannot add insurance types at will, but you can use filters to find a suitable option.
What else should I know?
Any insurance type does not cover damage to the car interior. Clients are fully responsible for interior damage, including smoking-related damage.

How to cancel a paid order?
Go to the order card
Click “Cancel.”
If the free cancellation period has ended, you will need to confirm your agreement with the penalty.
When will the money for the canceled order be returned?
If the order has already been paid by bank transfer and you cancel it without a penalty, the refund amount will be credited to the “Overpayment” balance on the same day.
If the order was paid by bank card and you cancel it without a penalty, the funds will be automatically returned to the card from which the payment was made. As a rule, the refund period is seven banking days.
Where can I view and download the booking information?
The information is displayed on the booking card (section “Orders”) and on the voucher. You can download the voucher immediately after placing your order on the confirmation page of a successful booking, and it will also be sent to your email.

A car can be rented for drivers aged from 20 to 71. Please note that some rates imply an additional charge for drivers of a certain age (for example, under 25 years).
What documents are needed to rent a car?
To pick up a car, the driver will need the following documents:
Passport or national identity card
International and national driver's licenses
Voucher from RateHawk, which will be sent to your email after placing an order
International credit card in the driver's name (some carriers also accept debit cards)
Please note: As a rule, rental companies only accept embossed bank cards (with relief symbols on the front side). Depending on the rate conditions, you may need a card of a certain type (for example, Visa Gold) or two cards. A specific rate requirements can be studied in the full rental conditions.

How does the client receive the rented car upon arrival?
The driver arrives at the pick-up location specified in the voucher, for example, at the rental company's office at the airport. Depending on the rate conditions, the car may also be driven to the airport terminal and/or meet the client with a name sign.
The driver presents a set of documents and signs the rental agreement. If necessary, the driver pays for additional services on the spot, for example, extended insurance or a child seat.
The driver checks the car for defects, signs the acceptance certificate (attached to the rental agreement), and makes a security deposit.
How does the client return the rented car?
The driver arrives at the drop-off location specified in the voucher.
Then, the rental company manager checks the car for defects and signs the acceptance certificate.
The security deposit is automatically unblocked on the client's card within 30 days.
